Easy Banana Bread Recipe

Here’s a simple and delicious banana bread recipe that you can make at home

Ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the melted butter and brown sugar to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and egg until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flourbaking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the banana bread cool slightly before slicing and serving.
